I got this belt to wear in a wedding, and so far I have been quite pleased with this belt. It runs true to size-I endued up wearing a belt size that was the exact same as my waist size. I would recommend erring on the small side because the belt is very thick and the loose end may not fit easily through small belt loops. The plaque buckle has a sleek, modern look to it, although it is a bit difficult to fasten and unfasten. I worry that the holes in the belt will wear out eventually because of this. It is reversible, although the black side definitely looks better than the brown side. I will only use wear this with dress pants, although it could probably be worn with jeans for a look that I probably cant pull off.

These actually look very nice in person. The leather has some heft to them and feel smooth on both sides. They look elegant and the buckle doesnt scream "look at me" rather its a nice subtle addition to your suit or dress pants... or... jeans? These are nice but sometimes I feel that the holes are too small and sometimes its a hassle to take the belt off and unhook the belt from the pre-set holes. Besides that, its a good belt. Also, although the belt says that its reversible, the construction on the brown side makes it more obvious that the brown side is the wrong side and that the use of this belt should be used with the black side. But overall, I really like this belt. Construction feels pretty solid too.

Ive had this variation / style of belt for over 10 years and works really well. I had to recently replace it after 10 years though due to it getting really worn out and scratched / scuffed due to years of use. Glad I was able to find it again on Amazon.

At first I was very pleased with this belt. i liked how it looked and it functioned well. After about 6 weeks of normal wear, the buckle broke loose from the leather belt and couldnt be repaired. Amazon kindly agreed to replace the belt despite it being past the 30 day return period. The new belt was great just like the first, but again, just like before the belt buckle separated from the belt (it is attached by only a small metal post that inserts into a metal fitting on the end of the belt, and this post detached from the belt). After having the same issue twice, I assumed this was a design flaw and asked Amazon for account credit rather than a replacement belt, and again they kindly agreed to help me out. Bottom line: it is not durable and will break in a month or two. Buy a different belt.

WHEN THIS BELT SPLIT APART AT THE TOP IN THE BACK DUE TO THE RUBBING OF THE BELT LOOP DURING NORMAL WEARING, THE CHEAP MATERIALS USED IN ITS COMPOSITION BECAME EXPOSED. NO LEATHER IS TO BE SEEN UNLESS ITS SHREDDED, PROCESSED AND REBONDED WITH GLUE...IM MORE INCLINED TO SAY THIS BELT IS 100 PERCENT SYNTHETIC--AND A VERY POOR REPRESENTATION OF THAT EVEN NOBLE MATERIAL
