Went by the sizing guide, but Id say go one size up unless youre at the lower end of the size range. Also after just a few uses, the leather is already wrinkled and cracked, looks quite cheap. Very dissapointing for Tommy Hilfiger, but the colour is very hard to find so Ill keep it.

I bought one of these belts several years ago. The black top surface was real leather, and the brown undersurface was imitation leather. The brown imitation leather cracked first, then the black real leather went. But all in all, I was satisfied with the belt and bought another. The new belt does not appear to be real leather, however. The earlier belt was made in China. This belt is labeled "Handcrafted in Guatemala Imitation Leather." Judging from the look and feel of the black top leather-like substance, it is in fact imitation leather. Amazon should correct its (at the time of this review, inconsistent) product description.

Im not a big style guy so having a reversible belt is key to getting ready for work. Its easy to switch from black to brown depending on what Im wearing that day. The belt gets some serious use around my waist and is holding up very well. The belt holes are holding up so far and they get put under some serious pressure every Monday after Ive been relaxing and eating all weekend. I recommend this belt and will be getting another one in a few more months.

My son absolutely loves this belt however This is the 2nd one we had to order The 1st fall apart within a couple times of wearing but we were fortunate enough to be able to have it replaced @ no charge seeing iit broke-( the Belt buckle came a part) so it was replaced & we had a new one within 2 days which was so greatly appreciated !! We received the 2nd one ( or replacement) on September 18th & here we are exactly 2- months later November 17th & the exact same thing happened! However this time we are out of luck because we CANNOT RETURN IT or HAVE IT REPLACED because theres only a 30 day return- replacement on this product!! We just wanted to have it replaced again we dont want the money we just want a new belt that will last & not fall apart!! My 17 year old son loves this Belt ( especially the blue color side its a perfect shade that matches many of his outfits & we have not been able to find the same shade any where else ) Seeing that its a Tommy Hilfiger Belt I without a doubt expect it would last more than 2 months. I truly thought the replacement/ return policy was well more than 30 days!( my bad) Seriously a name brand Belt such as Tommy Hilfiger should not fall apart twice within 3 months!! Needless to say I am truly disappointed & beyond aggravated that now I have to either find a different belt thats close to the same color or shell out another hunk of money again on the same Damn Belt If it happens to fall apart once again hopefully it does within 30 days so we can be able to have it replaced!! No Belt thats supposed to be designer quality should fall apart within 2 months of buying it especially when its taken care of & not worn every single day ! Id say they definitely need to figure out this Flaw with the belt buckle falling a part!! And the kicker of course wouldnt ya know it tonight theres a special function that were attending that he planned to wear that belt!!! Good Grief .... doesnt it figure

I am so disappointed with this belt. Ive had pretty crappy luck with buying belts (especially) from Amazon. In the past 5 years, Ive noticed that most belts sold on Amazon are of the worst quality. I figured that at least this brand is Tommy Hilfiger, and the quality would be better. I was very wrong. Ive used the belt 7 times so far, and this is the state of it (look at pic attached to this review). Is Tommy Hilfiger making D-grade belts now? DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT if you are looking for something that needs to last you a few years minimum.
