My husband is an Electrician in Wisconsin and often is outside. We got this to help keep the bite away from being outdoors. It is great for fall and chilly spring weather but is not great again "real" cold. He still wears it under other stuff and says he would buy more of them.

This is Carharrt so need to mention the quality! IF you know Carharrt, you know their quality! My husband and sons have so much Carharrt and this medium weight pullover is one of their favorite pieces. I love the blue color and the zippers are perfect for storing a debit card and a key for those jeep rides! It washes and drys well.

This is really comfortable and fits good across shoulders . My only complaint is it is about 3" too short. It just comes down to top of belt so when you lift your arms up it rides up and belly or mid section gets cold.

First of all, this isn’t a hardcore outdoor item like some people automatically associate with Carhartt, but it is a very nice and extremely comfortable shirt for those time when it’s not so frigid outside. I have two of these Force Extreme shirts (one is a hoodie) and they’re some of my favorites. The best I can explain the weight and feel is that it’s pretty similar to the Therma-Fit material from Nike. I love wearing this type of shirt (with a base layer undershirt) to fall or chilly spring softball games with my daughter. It’s the perfect combination of being warm and comfortable (for me) without the bulk of a jacket or coat. The fit is about the same as a comparable size Therma-Fit sweatshirt from Nike. I’ll be buying more!
