I have a wide foot so I always get torn about buying a wide, or just get a half size more. I opted for a 10.5 instead of a 10w. Gives me extra room in the toe length, while the shoe still fits snug on the sides. Probably a bit to narrow, but I don’t know what the wide would of felt like. All in all, I like the fit, makes my foot feel good, and my planters fasciitis hasn’t acted up. Arch feels great, very stable, and heel is secure, even with the half size larger. I use this shoe for fitness walking outdoors. Probably 25 - 28 miles a week.

When I was young and thin I wore hard to find Mens narrow shoes and sneaks for about 15 years. Now Ive been wearing standard width mens 11 shoes and sneaks for 20 years. I can honestly say the toe box on these running shoes is too narrow. It pinches and feels like Ive put my normal width feet into a narrow shoe. Ive had perfectly normal toe width previous running shoes from Asics, Saucony, others, and most recently New Balance. I just think Asics went too narrow in the toe in this one model this one time. Ill still buy Asics in the future. They make a good Running shoe.

As a distance runner for 15 years, i developed serious plantar fasciitis, and eventually trashed my right achilles, thus ending my running. Aside from occasional pain at the injury site on my achilles. I swore by Saucony Hurricanes as a runner, but switched to one of the earlier asics gel series, for a time. They were terrific. The only reason i didnt continue using them, was that they were harder to get, at the time. However, I now have a job which requires me to be on my feet for long periods of time, and to remain in good shape. This aggravated my injuries, and i knew it was caused by my street shoes and sneakers. The Sauconys i could use for my condition are all pretty ugly, so I looked for a hipper sneaker that matched my style, while solving all my pain issues. Right off the bat, the Asics GT10000 7s did the trick, and look good with everything from sweats to jeans.

This product was quite satisfactory, sole did not seem quite as rigid as the other gt1000 models all proceeding the "-7" model. I hike hundreds of miles and have relied on the asics gt500 gt1000 and gt2000 models for some time. The sole rigidity issue was resolved after adding the superfeet insoles and these shoes are now performing very well. Since I always use these inserts i would buy this model again.

Been wearing the shoes for a couple miles already and I must say I am impressed. The reviews I read say the shoe fits narrow which I can agree with but not in the toe. The toe box is perfect (and I usually wear a wide) but its narrow running up the foot which is actually not bad. My ankles feel supported enough to run without being over bearing and they breathe well. Had a pair of Asics while in BMT and Tech School and we ran about 5 miles every day and they held up through all the abuse. My last shoes were a pair of Nike Assertions and they blew up on me and needed glued back together from time to time. Asics are by far my favorite brand and Im not sure why I always talk myself into being unsatisfied with any other brand. Just stick with the Asics and you wont be disappointed.
