I bought these "surf-n-turf" shoes before my trip to Belize, where I had planned to be at the west coast of the country and the in-land jungles for hiking on hard and challenging terrains. These shoes are so comfortable that they make you feel like your feet have morphed and undergone an evolution where you become an amphibian that can transition from land to water with ease. I climbed over rocks and slippery surfaces, leaving no stone unturned in the beautiful jungles of Belize. No height was out of reach and I felt invincible. A previous review had mistakenly said that these feet protectors "fit too small". That person did not try and test them the way I did. They fit the way theyre mean to fit. When you order them, order the exact size that you are because I made the mistake of ordering half a size bigger (due to said review) and then I was forced to hear the squeaky sounds of my feet in the shoes. Luckily I did not mind, for the place where I was was glorious, and it sounded like monkeys at a distance..only it was my shoes. The shoes are rated to withstand the shock load of carrying the most dangerous of jungle animals - a.k.a young adult Caucasian females that have been impaired during a treacherous hike. While I am not at liberty to discuss the rated capacity of said load, I can safely promote the integrity of these feet covers during this very difficult task, walking upstream, on slipper rocks, whilst hearing the angry calls of a female and her wounded ego. These feet miracle workers will dry at a relative quick speed. Commoners that did not have the same shoes experienced blisters around their ankles. I laughed in the face of these unfortunates because these All Out Blaze Sieve Water-Land shoes have a built-in pad ankle protection, expertly made, that even Achilles himself would sign off on. They are now resting safely in my closet, and I cannot wait to morph once more, in a near future.

Right out of the box these fit perfectly! Cant figure out all the bad "dont fit reviews, and I have hell trying to find shoes that fight right. I did take the time to break them in a little to scuff up the soles. They are slippery on wet surfaces when new and helps your feet get used to them so you dont get blisters on an all day trek. Used them yesterday on a jungle tour in Costa Rica, climbing wet rocks, crossing rocky sandy streams, and swimming in gravel bottom waterfall pools. Like many reviews state you will get smaller pebbles and sand in them but just shake your feet and they wash out. If you dont have sense to do that before you start trail walking again leaving your shoe full of gravel then maybe you need to try some other recreational activity and quit leaving bad reviews about that "problem". Try these youre gonna like them

I love these shoes! Ive had a pair in another color for 4 years now, and have logged countless miles in them, and they have performed flawlessly. Great fit right out of the box, but they will break in and loosen a little over time. I havent worn these yet, but have no reason to believe they will be any different than my previous pair because they look identical. (Materials, build, etc.) Sure footing on every surface Ive worn them. They dry fairly quickly when having to wade. They only thing I would say is the color that is described as Light Brown (with the orange trim), is more like an olive green in the pair that I recieved, but I personally like the greenish color better than I would have the brown I think!

My Keens (H2 Newports) failed (again) just before a trip to the Boundary Waters of MN, so I decided to switch brands and couldnt be happier! These shoes are very comfortable, and performed well, even without a break in period. There are a couple of things to note: 1) The toe box is large, so they might feel a little loose up front, even though they are the proper length 2) The soles are a little thinner, compared to the Keens. I actually like this as it conformed better to the surfaces I was walking on. 3) They didnt seem to hold the muck/gravel as much (though this could have been just because of the conditions) Overall, I really, really like these. Ive only had them two weeks, so I cant comment yet on the long term durability, but they seem very well made and well worth the money.

Ive only taken the shoes out on one outing so far, and that was this weekend. I went on a trip from Fayetteville Arkansas down to Ruth Mississippi to fish a couple of ponds with a mate that lives down there. They fit great, and felt secure as well. My only complaint, and its an extremely minor one at that. Is the fact that theyre a little less great out of water... In the water whatever gets in the shoe is quickly removed by the water. Out of it is a different story.... I was walking through grass and kept getting tons of seeds in them, which made them uncomfortable. So I had to keep going back to the water to clean them off..... Its only a minor complaint like I said, because I didnt buy these for working and wading in ponds.... I got them for the creeks in which I fish back in NWA...
