I bought these "surf-n-turf" shoes before my trip to Belize, where I had planned to be at the west coast of the country and the in-land jungles for hiking on hard and challenging terrains. These shoes are so comfortable that they make you feel like your feet have morphed and undergone an evolution where you become an amphibian that can transition from land to water with ease. I climbed over rocks and slippery surfaces, leaving no stone unturned in the beautiful jungles of Belize. No height was out of reach and I felt invincible. A previous review had mistakenly said that these feet protectors "fit too small". That person did not try and test them the way I did. They fit the way theyre mean to fit. When you order them, order the exact size that you are because I made the mistake of ordering half a size bigger (due to said review) and then I was forced to hear the squeaky sounds of my feet in the shoes. Luckily I did not mind, for the place where I was was glorious, and it sounded like monkeys at a distance..only it was my shoes. The shoes are rated to withstand the shock load of carrying the most dangerous of jungle animals - a.k.a young adult Caucasian females that have been impaired during a treacherous hike. While I am not at liberty to discuss the rated capacity of said load, I can safely promote the integrity of these feet covers during this very difficult task, walking upstream, on slipper rocks, whilst hearing the angry calls of a female and her wounded ego. These feet miracle workers will dry at a relative quick speed. Commoners that did not have the same shoes experienced blisters around their ankles. I laughed in the face of these unfortunates because these All Out Blaze Sieve Water-Land shoes have a built-in pad ankle protection, expertly made, that even Achilles himself would sign off on. They are now resting safely in my closet, and I cannot wait to morph once more, in a near future.

I bought these a little over five months ago and in that time have done a ton of hiking, waded through rivers and mud, tackled ropes courses, gone in and around salt water and even used them a few times on my mountain bike. They have held up about as well as I could possibly expect. PROS: After wearing them in the first day they have been completely comfortable. They have held up well considering how hard I am on most of my things. They keep their grip fine on most surfaces, even slick rocks by rivers. They clean up pretty easily and I have even thrown them in the washing machine a few times. CONS: The shoes do not handle slick wood very well. I have noticed the issue a few times. Not any worse than most shoes, but not what I expected compared to how they grip on other surfaces. They should be worn in a day or two before heavy use. I just threw them on, went on a full day adventure and had a few sore spots to show for it. Did not get blisters, but pretty close. I did not have the issue again after that first day.

Bought a pair of these for my week long canoe trip in the BWCA. These shoes exceeded my expectations: great in the water, good support, excellent traction, easy to shake the rocks and sand out while wearing, quick drying, protected my feet, and look awesome. Whats not to love? I climbed rocks both wet and dry, swam, portaged, everything just fine in these shoes. The other guys on the trip were impressed and several mentioned wanting to purchase a pair of these shoes. I cant recommend them enough and plan to purchase another pair.

While I only received these today I immediately took a hike through varied terrain (I live in the country), I wanted to post review number one because one of the biggest issues I had was what the heck size to order once I had narrowed my choice down to this shoe.. Its unbelievable how many opinions there are... almost as many as the number of different feet out there! In a nutshell, I wear a 10 and I have a wide foot. I almost ordered a half size larger but that would have been a mistake. Fit perfectly right out of the box and adjusted wonderfully in that years ago I broke my ankle and my left foot is now a bit larger than my right foot. I got these to replace my worn Tevas. I have not previously had lace type footwear, but its great. I can totally adjust my left foot to an excellent comfort level. Unlike my Tevas (which I could adjust) its not just a strap, its the whole. So no pressure points as they are diffused. I read so many reviews on so many different products, and finally narrowed it down to these. Im not a river guide, I travel a lot in Asia and I wanted highly ventilated footwear that I could wear all day, and if theres water so be it. I usually do a lot of city walking, but I have to say these vibram soles are amazing. I walked through gravel areas and was amazed at the ability of the vibram soles to absorb sharp rock. Walked down the asphalt driveway and experienced a comfortable support. In sum, unless something weird happens in India next month, I love these right out of the box. Ive never had any arch issues so I dont know what to say about that. Order your size. Update: Had these for a while now and I LOVE THEM! Im actually wearing them all day with socks as house shoes.The plan was to break them in before heading to Asia, but I could have worn these out of the box to Asia. I literally have these on 12 hours and then take them off without and residual feeling. They come off so easy with a toe push. They go on easily. As mentioned I have a wide foot so I leave them at full size, although for hiking I tighten them just a bit. Total comfort. After reviewing and agonizing over so many choices, I am happy to say this was as good as my choice could have been. No question... a great product. UPDATE: Back from India & Bangladesh. These are the only footwear I took on the trip. I also took one pair of socks (for wearing on the plane)... well, no surprise. They performed! Whether hiking down a rocky beach or through miles of urban Mumbai, they were comfortable all day. I travel with anti bacterial wipes so I would wipe them down and clean them every other day or so. Kept them nice and fresh. I suffer from Hot Feet syndrome, but not with these. Now that Im back home, they are my house shoes again, wearing all day with socks. Im not sure why several reviews mention that they run big. I wear a size 10 and have very wide and chubby feet. They fit perfectly with the size adjusting elastic left wide open! And they are so easy to take on and off. I love them. Every bit the 5 star product.

These shoes are great! Exactly what I wanted in functionality of a water shoe! Great grip, faster drying. Water flows in & out and shoe stay firm unlike typical wet shoes! They look dumb cause it’s a sandle shoe but obviously these weren’t made for a fashion show & they works great!! My only downside on these is It felt like it fit better at first then it does. It’s little extra in the toes but that’s ok cause a 1/2 size down would be to small probably. But after hiking in them for the 3rd time I noticed I was getting blisters because my feet are just a little wider then the shoe base so my foot walks on the inside strap that connect to the shoe. Hopefully as these break it more the fit will get better!
