Ive been wearing NB baseball turf shoes for several years. They feel great and last. Each pair lasts me 18-24 months. These are no different. Well made and comfortable. Only giving it three stars though because I had to order 4 different pairs before I got the right size. The all black version, which is what I wanted, is significantly more narrow in the area near the toes. The black/white version fits completely differently. Im normally a 12.5 2E. Order those in all black. To small. Ordered the 13 2E, but mistakenly ordered the black/white, and they were to big. So, then I ordered the all black 13 2E. Again, to small. Ordered the 12.5 2E black/white, and fit perfect. Obviously an issue with consistency on their sizes between the different colors so be aware...

These are new so my only comment is what I see and the fit. The construction seems to be quality as expected from New Balance. However, the fit is a little tight in the toe area. My normal shoe size is 81/2 but the reviews I read indicated I should go up in size. I ordered the 9D. Wont return them because I believe the 91/2 would be too big. Hopefully they will stretch some as they get worn in. The lace pattern is a little odd. These shoes have a "lace pocket" at the top of the tongue. If you use the all of the holes at the top of lace pattern then you are unable to put the remaining shoes laces in the "lace pocket". Maybe I am lacing them incorrectly. ??

Great looking shoe. Although I DID get it in my size (10), I did get the Wide version because of my experience with the earlier version of this shoe. The prior version of this guy has been great. I expect this to be just as good. PS- whoever decided to invent the shoe lace pouch is a genius.

These are great turfs! Comfortable out of the box with no break in period. I am a female softball player that usually wears a size 7 in women’s shoes. I originally ordered the men’s size 6 in these. I had to return them because they were unusually narrow shoes and squeezing my feet at the toe box. I never wear wide shoes but I really didn’t need any larger so I returned the 6’s for a pair of 6 wide and they are perfect. If your feet are little boxy or slightly fanned out at the toes, order a wide. (They’re not that wide.) Highly recommend!

This is the hardest pair of shoes Ive ever had to break in. I wear turf shoes regularly. These I had to go get memory foam inserts because my feet hurt so bad on the first day I wore them. Waiting for them to break in. Not a real fan of the material on the front as it doesnt let your feet breathe. The 4040 turfs are more comfortable but lasted maybe 3 months. I like New Balance because of the width but these need major design changes.
