This is one heck of a boot. I have never owned Merrel foot ware before but I sure will now. I do a good deal of work on my feet and there are many time I have had a heck of a time breaking in new boots while on my feet. This was not the case with these, they were a bit stiff at first but less than a couple hours later I forgot about them. At the end of the day my dogs weren’t barking as much as normal and they boots were fully broke in. These are well constructed and true to siz. The eyelets are very well constructed and really allowed me to winch them down to my liking. I wore a pair of boot socks with them the first time as a habit but I think I can actually wear regular tube socks with no issue. I really like these boots and time will tell how the hold up. I would recommend them.

Great boot. I’m a retired LEO/PMC with more than 20 years on the job. I’ve never been able to wear Merrells due to a foot injury, they just never felt right. I ordered these on a whim and I’m glad I did. These are literally the most comfortable boot I’ve ever worn. They are even more comfortable than my Brooks running shoes!

I have a wide foot, but the side Merrell was a bit too wide. Not outrageously wide but not a snug fit. I wanted the non tactical boot that I had bought before but they were out of my size so I got these. I wish you could give 1/2 stars because these would get 3 1/2 stars instead of 4 just based on how stiff they are.

I have had a lot of Merrells in the past an Never had an issue with any of them so when I was looking to replace the crummy Belleville boots they issued us, Merrell was an obvious choice. These Moab 2 are supper comfortable. I have only had them for a week, but I can wear them all day and my feet do not hurt. They are light and the nylon shank provides good support and still remains flexible. If they are like all the other Merrells I have owned they will just get more comfortable as they get broke in.

Wider than the stadard Moab’s. Tongue is larger as well, making the lacing a little more difficult to keep snug. The sole and materials are as good as any Merrill product as well.
