I had bought a cheap $20 pair of boots at Walmart and they were absolute garbage. I took them back, went to JC pennies and tried on a pair of these shoes that fit me. I then order that same size here on Amazon because they were cheaper than the ones at JC pennies. Anyways I use these boots for welding and they work awesome. They actually have weight to them and use really nice leather. Definitely some good bang for your buck. Really good color too

I purchased these for riding, the lug sole is agressive and provides good traction when stopped. Leather uppers are clean with no imperfections. The full lace eyelets to the top of the boot allow lacing to your preference. I did order the size I normally wear. I was a little skeptical at first, as every manufacturer differs slightly. Fit and feel has been good with minimal break in. The natural curve to the sole of the boot adds comfort to walking. I did add innersoles as most riding-work related boots are relatively flat inside. The wide width is perfect especially with heavier socks. I did apply a good leather dressing to all areas exposed to the elements especially at the stitching where leaks occur first. If you notice there is a tab with the Skechers logo on the side, I dont think its intended as a pull.Too bad its not on the back and a little stronger. Overall a good purchase and comfortable boot.

I was looking for a pair of work boots that I could wear comfortably around the shop all day. I really did the research and it seemed that these shoes would fit that bill. They are just the opposite! These boots are tight in all the wrong places. There is little to no arch support. They are short - my toes are actually rubbing up against the toe of the shoe. Added to all of this, about half way through the day, my feet hurt so bad it was distracting. So, I said, stick with it and they will "break-in". I stuck with it for three weeks. They still dont fit and they still hurt my feet. The flip side is, these are a well built pair of boots. Maybe if I had ordered a half size larger they would be more comfortable. I dont know. I think Ill put them in the closet, and the next time it snows here, Ill wear them to shovel the driveway. Maybe Ill give them to the Goodwill. As I said: Totally disappointed in these boots.

Ordered these based on all the great reviews on here ... and wasnt disappointed. First, I normally wear a size 10 shoe/sneaker, but I ordered these as 10.5, anticipating the desire to wear heavy winter socks in them, once the weather gets really cold. The 10.5 seem to fit exactly as I expected: theyre a little big as-is (though still completely wearable without thick, heavy socks) and seem to have plenty of room for when I do break out my winter socks. Beyond that, the shoes look terrific, feel comfortable -- decent arch support, decent width, decent toe room, decent heel section. The tread is more compliant than I expected and provides a nice, comfortable cushioning effect. Ive worn them all day without any problems. Havent had them long enough to know how well they hold up, but based on others reviews, Im expecting them to do quite well. Overall, they seem like a good boot at an excellent price.

Ordered boots which stated WATERPROOF. Boots are heavy but I thought that would pass! boots do have a rubber sole very good. They are not WATERPROOF as stated I bought these for summer motorcycle riding and I do ride in the rain first rain storm hit my feet are soaked!!!. Do not purchase these boots if you do anything in water.
