I have been wearing (more or less) the same Reebok court shoe for over 30 years. When I put on my first pair, they were immediately comfortable and stayed that way until I wore them completely out. Ive bought A LOT of these shoes over the years. In fact, they were so much of a go-to shoe, I no longer tried them on. I just clicked and ordered the same size/style as before. Let me warn you: Theyve changed. The first thing I notice when I put them on is they seem a little smaller. Not a lot. But a little. I have a narrow foot and suddenly: these shoes are almost too narrow. Strange. The next thing that is immediately noticeable is the comfy insole has changed. The old insole with lots of support is now some "memory tech" insole. The "memory tech" part is that every time you wear them, you are reminded not to buy these ever again. And Im not sure if its the insole or the shoe... but they are suddenly whimsically, tissue thin. No exaggeration: I step on a pebble and it sort of feels like stepping on a pebble barefoot. Thats not supposed to happen. I am not supposed to be able to step on a quarter and tell you if it is heads or tails. Long time customer... no more.

These shoes are nice, and finding the 4E wide was a huge relief! They fit great, and as expected of Reebok. The shoe upper is nice quality and comfortable. BUT!!! , They dont hold up!, the sole is thin!!, dont kick anything while wearing these! do NOT wash them and toss them in the dryer, the old ones may have taken this, these will FALL APART if you do!, the sole to upper bond is horrid! This kind of poor quality is worthy of a shoe bought at the dollar store, wait, thats an insult to dollar stores!

I work retail and have put a couple hundred miles into these. They do run narrow, but I read the reviews and ordered a size wider than I normally wear, and right out of the box they fit better than pretty much any other shoe Ive worn. Despite constant use and impacts, the seams are still going strong, theres very little wear on the soles, and with occasional oiling the leather is still strong and pliable. The biggest advantages to me, as someone who walks a lot on mixed terrain, are the combination of light weight, durability, and a surprisingly grippy and flexible sole. I would highly recommend these to anyone who works on their feet a lot. The one downside is that the soles are not terribly supportive, but thats actually a plus to me because Im used to being barefoot or wearing thin leather soles outside of work, so it feels more natural and doesnt leave my feet sore.

The previous reviews are correct as this Club Memt "Fashion" sneaker is not built to handle real court activity like its Club C cousin. The Memts upper is virtually identical to the Club C, but the sole is much thinner and the interior arch support is poor. Hence, this is a decent shoe for wearing indoors on flat surfaces, but would not recommend for serious walking or athletic activities. As noted by other reviewers, the main advantage of the Memt is that its available in Wide sizes. Hence, if you have a normal D-width, I would recommend the regular Club C model. If, like me, you like the sneakers appearance, accept its functional limitations, and need a wide (4E) sneaker, then the Memt style will work.

Ive always loved Reeboks but the last two pairs Ive ordered for my father have separated all around the toe. The first pair did this after hed worn them for several months so I didnt think much of it, but the last pair I bought in June for Fathers Day separated in exactly the same way in a matter of a month and a half. Im going to re-order another pair today for Dad and hope this new pair holds up better, because this particuclar Reebok style fits his feet perfectly. Ill update this review after hes had his new shoes for a month or so, unless they separate sooner than that.
