Fishmasks Single Layer Neck Gaiter - Lightweight Summer Protection From Sun, Surf, Wind And Moisture, For Men And Women - Fishing Single Layer Neck Gaiter Made In The USA - UPF 50+, Moisture-Wicking Performance Fabric
Pretty good. This is my 2nd fishmask. I had one rated 30UPF and I bought this one because this one rated as 50+UPF. Both of the fishmasks I have are pretty good. This one feels a tiny coarse or denser on the material than my old one. However, it still doesnt feel uncomfortable and I believe it is probably because due to the higher UPF ratings.

Im a construction wireman. I work outside 5 days a week. Whether its hot or cold, this thing keeps the sun off of my skin, while allowing my skin to breathe.

Let me just get this out of the way and say that I work in industrial agriculture in Indiana. More specifically, I walk the corn fields looking for weeds, diseases, and bugs. That means, you guessed it, lots of corn. As the corn grows taller, the leaves will cut your face to the point where it stings with every drop of sweat. Couple that with the fact that the plants produce tons of pollen (and I walk over 20,000 acres), that meant that I needed something lightweight, quick drying (dew is a problem), and could help filter the pollen. This does it all! Pros: -Lightweight fabric to keep me cooler than a bandana -Breatheable material keeps me from suffocating while blocking dirt and pollen -Wicks moisture, helping with dew off of my face -Material helps block UV rays, keeping my neck from being sunburned -Hemmed edges for durability (doesnt roll up or lose shape) -Does not change its position once you have it on Cons -Does not come in high-vis colors. I wouldve loved one in safety orange to match my work shirts, but settled for khaki to match the company hat and as another light color to keep me cool. -A little tight at first, but does loosen up just enough to make it comfortable after a couple of wears Its really a great product and the cheaper versions you find will not last as long or be of as great quality as a Fishmask.

It does cover your face, etc. It has some air holes but the mask does not fit to my face tight enough to keep my breath from fogging up my glasses. I havent found a mask that does a good job of covering my nose and mouth and keeping my glasses clear. Maybe someday someone will come out with one that will work for me.

Have used this on a couple of trips only as my last go-to gaiter when all others were too dirty or smelly to continue using them. This one is too tight with very little stretch...and I do not have a large head/face. Very uncomfortable over the nose and doesnt allow air to pass through very well making it on the hot side and resulting in fogged glasses. Used it on the last day of a Mexico fly fishing trip and returned home with a sunburned nose from not being able to keep it over my nose due to tightness. Only burned part of my body and only happened on final day. Came home and bought more standard inexpensive cotton gaiters that I can keep pulled up to my eyes to block out all sun.
