First review I have ever written... Have never been inspired to write a review before now. I freaking love these skirts! The fabric is awesome, with just the right amount of stretch, no cling, hangs great. I was worried about the fit over my pear shaped bum, but it hangs beautifully. Im 54" and weigh 145 (61 years old), so coverage is called for. I bought a short (original) style skirt in Large to wear after swimming, with my swimsuit. Fits great at my hips. LOVE that I dont have to step into it and that it doesnt get "soggy butt" with a wet suit underneath! Looks cute and sporty, not like an old lady swimdress. So, I bought a version 2 longer skirt to wear when I am not at the pool. I got a Medium, which I wear a bit higher at my waist with tee shirts. Amazingly, it also fits great! I am dangerous at this point... I may keep buying more! Questions I had before I bought: I am not a size 6 with straight hips, will it work on my curvy body with a big bum? YES! Works fine, hangs just right. Is there enough overlap to sit at the pool, or will it pull open and expose what I am trying to keep covered? NO PROBLEM, both versions are fine when sitting. What about length? Will it cover enough? Too much? I find the short skirt, worn at my hips to be cute and the right coverage for me. Younger women may prefer shorter, but I love it. The longer skirt is too long on my short frame IF I wear it at my hips, but from my waist it falls a couple inches above my knee and looks just right. I agree with the previous post that suggested to put the fuzzy (vs scratchy) side of the velcro facing out; some of my shirts snag on it just a bit. Believe the great reviews, believe the great rating - this is one terrific skirt. THANKS!

Fits perfectly. Looks perfectly dry even when wrapped around a soaking bathing suit. Style is nice. The material is very cool. Update to this review. This skirt is the best purchase Ive made this summer and I believe it will last several years. Sadly, I gained about 10 lbs, but the fact that it is an adjustable wrap allows it to fit me despite the extra pounds. When I lose the weight, I can wrap it a little tighter and it will still fit perfectly. The length hits just above my knees, Im 58" if I stand up straight. It looks very good with the lightweight hoodie that I wear over my swimsuit, but I think it would look good with anything I wear during tje summer. I shove this skirt in the bottom of my bag yet it doesnt seem to wrinkle. It looks really true to the pictures, if I get brave Ill post a pic of it on me.

I cant wait to exchange this skirt for the correct size. According to the size chart I should be a medium but it was way too big. So big as a matter of fact that the velcro patches actually passed each other. It (almost) fell off when I made it as small as it could go. I am 55" 130 lbs and ordered a medium, I will return for a small. I love the material and I plan on wearing this skirt to work. If it works out Ill be buying many more!

I love the fabric and fit of this easy summer wrap skirt. Great as a swimsuit coverup but can also be worn all day long away from the pool. But the pocket is so tiny you could not even fit one credit card in it - so you might as well consider this skirt does not have any pocket- and that is a disappointment. A nice deep side seam pocket on both sides would be a very welcome addition! The lack of pocket and relatively high cost for this simple skirt is why I did not give it 5 stars. Also just a note - while the Amazon purchase provides free returns - if you go looking at the RipSkirt website for more styles, sizes or colors beware that the return shipping is NOT free when ordering direct. I made that mistake once.

I loved this skirt so much. However, the color (sand camo) was slightly off. It was much more yellow then the picture portrayed and I really couldn’t get it to match with anything. So sadly, I returned it. I loved the fit so much so I will probably order two more in other colors. I’m giving it 5 stars because I realized it was more of a color preference for me, nothing wrong with the product. The fit was perfect. I ordered a small and I am 5’6”, 140 lbs with an athletic build. I wear a size 4 in jeans. The skirt hit an inch or two above my knee. I had room to spare around my waist and can adjust it due to the Velcro fasteners. I can’t wait to order more. It will be an amazing skirt for summer.
