Im 54 and 170lbs with an athletic figure. This skirt was sized just a tad big but in reviewing it I put "fit as expected" because I do think if it were any tighter it would not be as adjustable and good as hiding weight in middle section. Needless to say I do love it. Because I am short and the skirt is slightly big, it allows me to adjust it how I want and make it high waisted or sit right at my hips. I really do suggest you size up! The belt that it comes with is very cute too and perfect for other outfits (belt is detachable and has stretch to it!). Ill be wearing this skirt with the "long sleeve scoop neck pleated blouse top" also found on Amazon. I do see some reviewers have noted the skirt falling apart after wearing.. But Ill only post an update if it turns out to be a bad purchase after I start wearing it!

Its super cute. I got an extra large and it fits perfect and its knee length! the only thig i recommend is to steam iron it; I tried to iron it and i was scared for a second that i had burned it even with the iron on low because it gave the fabric a weird texture and didnt glide over it like it should. So just hold the iron over it and let the steam knock out the wrinkles. UPDATE: I’m pretty sure this is dry clean only but there’s no tag to say. I said not to iron it before but ever since I first washed it it has started falling apart and little elastic fuzzies have been popping up around the seem! The picture doesn’t do justice to what it looked like before it started picking them off

Love my skirt. I ordered a large but I lost weight so it was slightly larger than expected. I am a size 6-8 but I was afraid the med would be tight from the reviews I saw. This was my second time wearing this skirt and it fits better than the first. I washed and placed in the dryer on low heat for 15 minutes.

Updating my review, because after I wrote my review saying that the skirt fell apart quickly and wasnt worth the money, the company reached out to me said theyd be in contact with their manufacturer to make the necessary changes and gave me a refund. Id give this company another try in the future merely because of their customer service.
