I was looking for mid-shin skirts, something for the fall that I can wear athletic capris under for an extra layer. This skirt isnt quite long enough for my capris, but its wonderful regardless. If youre a bike-shorts-under-skirts kind of person, this will suit you just fine. I usually wear an American size 4 Petite, but I sized up and purchased this Yige Womens High Waist Flared Skirt Pleated Midi Skirt with Pocket in a size 6. It fits perfectly -my waist is 28" and my hips are 39". The skirt arrived new and folded in a simple plastic sleeve. I steamed out the wrinkles with a little travel steamer, and even though I was hasty, the wrinkles were removed easily. The garment hangers are a nice touch, but I love the pockets! They may not be huge, but they are functional and will hold my phone (iPhone SE (same size as iPhone 5)). A nice liner is sewn in, it is almost as long as the skirt (not short like some liners) and it is a good color match, at least in khaki. The zipper didnt give me any trouble and is perfectly invisible. The pleats in the front and back are simple, classic, and evenly spaced. When I twist and swirl the skirt does not rise very high -so modesty is preserved and panties remain secret. But the skirt does enable plenty of motion, so if you need to climb into a monster truck you can. Lastly, my dog likes this skirt. So this classic shape fits me well, and it has pockets, and I think it is perfect. Now I need to decide what color I want to buy next

I am 5 2" and 138 lbs, I normally wear a 8 and ordered a 10 due to reviewers saying to size up... the 10 sat at my "wearing waist" not my true waist so I returned it for an 8 which is perfect. I loved it so much I bought a second one. I have Navy & Black. The Navy I would say is not a true navy, it has just a touch more purple in it, I would call it an Ink Blue... I have a pleated skirt from White House Black Market that is a similar color... I tried to show in a close up pic the skirt next to cobalt blue, black and a blueish purple to get a feel for the color. The fabric is soft and flows nice.. not too thick not too thin. Pockets are just right. Pics are of both the black and navy skirt.

Really cute skirt! The fabric is lighter and definitely has a bit of a sheen to it, rather than a heavier cloth texture that I expected from the pictures, and its not as dark of a navy, but the quality is still pretty good, so I still like it! It has a second lining underneath, solid pockets (always a plus!), not itchy at all, and definitely not see-through. If you want a thick, cloth skirt for the winter, this is probably not the skirt for you, but if you want a casual, versatile skirt that you can wear cool to hot weather, this is a good choice. I am around 57" and usually wear a size 2 or 27" waist for a comfortable fit, but sized up and ordered a size 4 just in case, since it said that the skirt ran a little small. It fits really well, and is high waisted, with the waistline resting slightly above my belly button and the hem falling right at my knees. If you want a comfortable fit, size up one, but if you want the tight, super high waisted look that the picture shows, you could probably just wear your usual size, the waistband would most likely rest right under your chest, though, rather than at your stomach.

What bothers me the most about this skirt is that the zipper does not have a button or clasp at the top, so it is most definitely going to fall apart at any minute. The material is thin and cheap and the amount used is superfluous. Because it is so light, the excessive material does not fall right and looks cheap. If they had been mindful of the way it would be worn it might have been better. Its just too bulky and looks odd. Otherwise the lightness of the material is very nice when you live in hot places. It just doesnt look very good.

Cute and great for the office, just the right length. I got the wind red color great for the fall / winter. Its so elegant and feminine; I always get compliments on it! Im 56 and 105, size 2 is a little bit tight for me but still looks great.This item fit somewhat small, but I would not size up.
