Well, it is very hard to tell if a kimono is going to fit a plus size person. Sometimes an XL will work because these type of tops are unstructured. This is not one that works. I read a review from a person who said she she was 250# and 57". and said the XL fit fine. I am also about that size and the shoulders are tight, and the kimono doesnt even come close to being able to close in the front. On sizing they indicate an XL has a 50" chest. That is impossible. As far as the quality... it is pretty decent. I would consider it semi sheer, the navy blue was spot on regarding the color. So overall a nice kimono. Just wish they came in bigger sizes!

See my pictures, very light and thin, stylish cardigan. Good for summer. It is long enough to cover my “heavier areas”. Don’t feel I am too big. ¾ sleeve doesn’t bother my work. Good quality and airy. I bought black.

Not as long as on the model in both the arms and the bottom length however a pretty little casual kimono and it is long enough. I like the pink. I havent decided if I am keeping the black one yet but the pink will be nice to wear down here in the Florida heat.

Perfect fit and very light weight, which is what I wanted because I’ll be wearing it over a swimsuit! I’m 5’5 244lbs and I ordered a XL.

It’s a very nice kimono, however I bought a S and its huge! Cannot imagine how big the larger sizes are.
