This product doesn’t fall under Amazon’s return policy. They were slightly too big (I’m usually a size 8 in sneakers, these felt like a 8.5). Californiakicks charges a 20% restocking fee, and told me I should “learn to buy my correct size” in their refund email.

I suspect these are knockoffs. This shoe is about 1/2 size smaller than marked. It has no arch support at all nor heel cup. It also has a seam where the tongue attaches that feels unfinished -- it presses painfully while walking. I considered trying a larger size in case these were simply defective. However, I realized that for the cost of the shoes plus insoles, I could just buy something better made instead.

Actually, they dont "fit as expected"; they fit PERFECTLY! And I never expect that. Trying on shoes or sneakers in a store almost never produces this feeling of satisfaction, but I get used to sneakers and other types of shoes never to fit my feet. 1. I have a small, high-arched wide foot with serious and very painful nail problems that sometimes send me to an urgent care facility from the pain. Trying on new shoes is usually a terrible experience. Online or print catalog buying is marginally better and often is much worse. Not this time! 2. The heel fits snugly; there should be no blister problems. If necessary, do tie the last lace holes by the ankle to secure it further. 3. The foam fills in my arch and supports it like "little pillows for your feet." If you run on hard surfaces, or play turf sports, or stand on your feet all the day long, add half-length professional orthotics. And place them UNDER the regular insert. 4. If the toe box fits ME comfortably, it will do so for you. I did order a half size larger shoe (than recommended by New Balance) in a D wide width ("Wide," not extra Wide nor 4E). Absolutely perfect fit, so I suggest you do the same: get a fit recommendation on the New Balance site and give it another half size. The width recommendation is superb in this size. 4. I dont know yet how theyll hold up under constant use, so well see. Do remember that your feet usually require size increases throughout your life from various foot problems. Always keep trying them on until you hit paydirt. Constant wear will likely keep the size for the life of the shoe/sneaker. 5. They are very attractive in a metallic gray with pink accents. Cool look! Should go with all casual wear. I made you a video because my feet are so happy! P.S. -- That is, of course, a rebounder in the video, not a treadmill.

Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy these sneakers for running. For me it was like running on rocks. No arch support whatsoever, hard cushion, no stability. I couldn’t concentrate on my run and I didn’t like it at all, so I had to return them.

Another great shoe from New Balance. I have a wide foot and finding a shoe that is this cute and comfortable is a miracle. I love the brand because I know I am going to get good use out of these.
