Im in the minority in that I like that these are made of synthetic materials. I dont buy leather anymore after seeing how barbaric and unethical the leather industry is. Also, some countries use cat and dog leather and fur in products. Since these shoes are foreign made, you dont know what you will get. I was happy to try the shoes, and ordered a wide size after reading reviews about them being narrow. I have narrow feet but once got stuck with a pair of Keds sneakers I couldnt wear due to the extreme narrow size. So I got the Reeboks and was able to get them on, but they definitely run small. I couldve used a half size up. And wide width on my narrow feet are snug...these do not feel wide at all. The shoes for some reason have a lumpy appearance, like they were made oddly. They are not shaped as nice as the older models. My mother liked the way they looked and wanted a pair until I told her they run small. I think I will keep them for the fall and winter. Not sure they will be comfortable in hot weather. UPDATE: I had to return them. The toe box part of the shoe was too tight. I only wore them for about 10 minutes and I felt the shoes rubbing my toes. I am sure they would cause blisters if worn for a long time.

I have been disappointed by very few products that i have ordered from Amazon. If everything were this upsetting, I would not have ordered so many items. However I don’t blame Amazon. It’s Reebok I am upset with. I have worn ONLY Princess and Classic Leather for longer than I can remember. They have been the only shoe styles that have been comfortable for my aching feet. I have always worn 7 1/2 and 7 1/2 wide D. Since they were leather, they fit wonderfully. The cut has been perfect and they have been very comfortable from the time I first put them on. Any snug areas, as around my bunions, stretched to fit quickly. They have never hurt, and new Reebok’s always made me happy. when I saw they were available through Amazon, I quickly ordered a pair of each, intending to buy 4 more pair soon. Never would have thought they are not the Reebok’s I have grown to be so attached to. They are not leather, but man-made non- flexible material cut to a size unknown to me. They are now at a shoe repair shop being stretched for a week with a hopeful change in toe box width so they are wearable. For $8 a pair, they “ might” be acceptable.. Since they were so painful on first try, they have to be better. I am near tears and and am afraid I will need to make another round at the shoe stores to hunt for a different brand and style. If I have any luck, I will update. PS I have ordered medical tape to place on all the painful areas for when I get my shoes back in a week.

I needed a tennis shoe I could hike ROCK trails with, but travel thru airports and shine for dress pants. Perfect perfect perfect! I actually took a permanent black marker and went over the Reebok. I ordered a full size larger in wide than my shoe size and placed a GOOD insole in them. Shoe does have a good thick bottom sole to begin with. Went to Egypt and only took these shoes and a small plastic shoe shine sponge. Climbed Mt. Sinai! Shoe is NOT real wide. Just barely wide, which is all I needed. I have 5 pairs of these shoes! In graduating condition of wear. Love them. I wear 8W with thin socks and 8.5W with thick socks. This shoe solved my Mortons Neuroma problem.

I like this shoe a lot, and have worn Reebok Princess for years and years. I read the reviews and noticed the leather/non-leather comments. I compared my new shoe with my 10-year old shoe, and if the material is different, it must have changed a long time ago. I see no difference. But the BIG difference I DO see (and feel), is that the arch support cushion is gone from this new shoe. My old shoe, beaten as it was, is better for me to wear on my walks than this new shoe. Its a noticeable difference --- you can feel it with your hand, and when wearing it you cant ignore it. My foot just "drops" on the inside. I love this shoe, and hope I can get an arch support for it; otherwise Im going to wear my old shoes as long as possible, no matter how beaten they look!

I have worn Reebok Princess shoes for years and years. This is the absolute worse shoes from Reebok and any other brand name shoes Ive ever purchased. The shoes squeak terribly. The pair of Reeboks I purchased before this last pair were equally as bad. I thought I had the exceptional lousy Reeboks. Wrong. The quality of these shoes has hit rock bottom. The shoe strings are short. The price is too high for such a poorly made shoe. Nothing leather about these shoes. I would never recommend this shoe and Reebok shoes to anyone. I would like a refund for these shoes.
