I now own these in two colors. One of my feet is size 9 and the other is 9.5. I ordered a 9.5 and both fit comfortably. I have extra wide feet but I find that with some brands even ordering the extra wide size isnt enough. These fit comfortably with no stretching. I love them!!! And bonus even though they are extra wide I dont look like I have clown feet.

I bought these shoes for work after the reviews stating how cute and comfortable they were, and I was excited to find a ballet flat with arch support. First off, the arch support in these is very modest but it works. I dont get the foot pain I usually would associate with lack of arch support when I wear them. My warning to would-be byers with these shoes is that they are hell to break in. I wore them to work a couple days after I purchased them and it was a nightmare. The elastic around the top of the shoe was much tighter than the leather and dug into my feet all over, especially agitating the area that is the knuckle of my big toe. To remedy this I stuffed the shoes with enormous socks and left them for about a week. After that the elastic was stretched out enough to not make me want to throw the shoes away, and with subsequent wearing they have gotten more and more comfortable. I still find these shoes to be uncomfortable if I am standing on concrete surfaces for a long time, and they sometimes rub my pinky toe a little if my feet get sweaty. If you work a desk job that requires you to be on your feet only a medium amount each day these shoes could be a good fit once the breaking in period is over. If you have to be on your feet a lot and/or stand on hard surfaces for a large part of your day you might try something else.

I have been searching for the perfect pair of ballet flats for years. I even spent a boatload of money on a pair of TIEKS which are claimed to be the most comfortable flats ever made. I researched Tieks reviews for months before making the decision to buy them. That was the wrong choice. These flats are superiorly more comfortable than Tieks! I got a pair in black last year and used mink oil to treat the leather and soften it a bit. After realizing that hush puppies were so much more comfortable, I bought another pair but Im suede. Those were ready to wear out of the box and needed no breaking in period. They are soft, comfy and I get a tone of compliments. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for the perfect ballet flats without breaking the bank!

I ordered these an a hopeful alternative to Tieks. My Tieks are requiring a surprisingly long time to break in, and I was thinking of returning them in favor of these. They are just ok. The inside is supposed to be real leather which cuts down on the sweaty-ballet-flat thing. The arch support is in a weird spot, it should be back towards the heel more. They do cut in a bit (back of heel, a bit near the big toe), but are not going to require the break-in time like the Tieks. However they are not as "sturdy" feeling as the Tieks. I still feel like the sole is thin. The color is spot-on. It reminds me of the color of an actual ballet slipper. I do think I am going to get a lot of wear out of them, but Im not going to buy another pair of Hushpuppy flats. Sizing is a bit small by like 1/2 size I believe.

This is the fifth pair of Hush Puppies Chaste ballet flats Ive purchased in the past year. They are my absolute favorite. I have very wide, short feet so the variety of sizes is exactly what I need. I also love that they dont show any toe cleavage because I hate that trend. I wear them every day and each pair has held up well except for a few missing studs on one pair. These shoes are comfortable enough to wear every day. Though I mostly wear them to work, they are comfortable to wear walking around as well. I get so many compliments on them. I would buy them in every color if I could. This pair seemed a bit bigger than the other pairs I own, and its the same size I always order. Im not entirely sure why that may be. Other than that they are wonderful as always.
