This is my first pair of 5-pocket jeans Ive purchased from Dickies. I typically wear 505s in 36x32 for everyday wear. I used to work construction and religiously wore the Carpenter Duck jeans in 36x34. I decided to order the Indigo Blue Rough in 36x34. When the jeans first arrived, they were very stiff and looked huge on me. Too wide in the waist and way too long in the length. But after a hot wash and high heat dry, they fit much better. The waist is perfect. I always wear a belt. Still about 1.5" too long but thats due to my error when ordering. Nothing a little hem cant fix. In the future, Id probably order 36x32 instead of 36x34. I dont like having to worry about my jeans shrinking, so I always buy on the larger side and warm wash and high dry. Very nice color, nice deep dark indigo. Very similar to the 501 shrink-to-fit. The leg opening is about 1" wider than my 505s. Not as slim as my 505s, but definitely not in the baggy category. Id definitely buy again.

These are the best jeans you can get, and theyre inexpensive to boot! Im an old guy (61 now) and have worn Dad Jeans for many years. The most comfortable jeans Ive ever had out of the package were a pair from LLBean that felt like super soft cotton, but they were on sale and since have only been available at too high a price, and wearing them every day wore them out in short order. Dickies, on the other hand, may not be as soft out of the package, but get very, very comfortable within just a few washings and wear like iron! Since the first couple from a few years ago have bleach splash spots from cleaning stuff and yard and car (and motorcycle) stains at the knees, I now have 6 pair and wear them every day. Originally got stone washed for daily wear and indigo for a little more formal (in a jeans-sense) but have since found that indigo becomes a nice stone washed after a few months so now thats what I get and simply let them fade over time. If you dont need that magic stitching on the back pocket, but need jeans that will feel great and hold up over time, these are your jeans. edit 2/15/2017: still great jeans, just wanted to say I just checked and all of mine were made in Mexico.

I have bought many pairs of these Jeans and have always been satisfied with the cost vs. quality ratio. Given this, I re-ordered Jeans based solely on my last purchase. Never bothered to try them on until I needed them. When I finally did, they didnt fit, I mean, at all. Same waist, inseam, etc., only a few months between my previous purchase. Gave them to my son in laws, who both have the same waist as me and neither could button them. In the end, I ordered the next size up and shrank them down and that is what I am wearing. These are good jeans and I will most likely stick by them but, the Quality Control has a lot to be desired. If youre going to produce outside of the US and put an American name on a product, then at least ensure there is some quality control such as what you would have had, had it been made in USA. Made in Mexico.

Order with care. The recent orders must be factory seconds or rejects. I bought 2 pairs of these pants last year they were great. I still wear them to this day. I decided to order another pair for this winter but was severely disappointed. The first pair I received must have been 2 sizes to large around the waist. I am a 34" inch waist and my current pair is 34" too. But these new "34s" fit like a 38" at least. They were huge so I sent them back and asked for a replacement. The next pair I got fit as normal but the legs were longer than 34" and seemed like a 36". Thats not all, cosmetically they were blemished. They have been folded so long there are permanent creases that are discolored down the inside and outside of each pant leg. So I replaced them once more. The replacement just came in. The waist fit like a 34 and the legs appeared to be a 34", no blemishes. Great! I thought, finally a pair thats not messed up. I put them on just now and look down at my feet, something seems off... The leg lengths are uneven! The right pants leg is 1 inch shorter than the left leg! Im done buying these pants off Amazon.

was happy about finding these on Amazon at a great price, I ordered my size (34) and they were way too big. I measured the waist on the jeans and they were actually 38 inches...not sure if they were mis-labled or what. Had to exchange them. new pair came and were a bit tight, washed them and they came out extremely wrinkled out of the dryer. Ironing and steaming helped a bit but its like they are permanently wrinkled. Ill still wear them but a bit disappointed as Im a loyal Dickies customer
