So these are as comfortable as you could hope a $20 shoe to be, but man are they cheap. The outer sole is like this gummy material that comes apart after just a few times wearing them. They also look drastically worse after going into the water and Im pretty sure if I tried to clean them they would just come apart even further. The only reason they could deserve such a high score on Amazon is either people being paid for reviews or the average consumer expects such quality considering the low price. Either way, I recommend buying a good quality shoe that will last you and probably be better for your back.

Lightweight and comfortable. It’s a “deceptive” product as it looks like a sneaker but is actually a very effective water shoe. The fit is good and the elastic lacing is easy to use. The drainage is very good and works great. It’s also more padded in the sole than ordinary water shoes so these are easier to walk with. They do not provide arch support but that’s ok.

I was looking for something inexpensive that I could use on an International flight. I received these quickly. They fit nicely and look good which really just means theyre simple and not cluttered with nonsense. Unfortunately, its overwhelmingly hard to find something devoid of an irritating factor. These fit the bill. If they come back in stock and they dont mess with the price, Ill buy them again. I dont actually expect these to last so I wouldnt pay more than the $12.99. Theres no rubber on the sole. Its just the foam stuff that cushions the soles in most cheap shoes which is perfect for a plane ride due to the weight savings and packability. Theyre basically slippers that look like nice running shoes. Theyre not running shoes.

I ordered a ½ size smaller than my regular shoes as I will be using them for water aerobics in the pool. I wanted to assure that they would stay on while I was actively exercising. However, I found them to be a large fit even prior to wearing them in the pool. The shoes do have stretchy elastic laces and a toggle clip to keep the laces stay secure while wearing, so I hope they stay on my feet. My suggestion would be to order a full size smaller. As another customer noted, they do have a plastic odor. Fingers crossed that it dissipates after wearing. They are very lightweight, too. NOTE: I wore them in the pool and they did stay put. Once wet, they actually kind of “stick” to your feet. The inner sole liner comes out and dries fast. Hoping that removing the liner each time after wear gets rid of the plastic odor.

I have not worn these in the water yet so I cannot review that part. However, I wear a true size 10 and have a Bigfoot. These are about I half a size larger then a womens 10. If I push my foot back all the way to the heel. My big toe ends about an inch from the end. If it slide forward heel is loose. I will add an update after I get off the Buffalo River. Would probably be fine in a lake. Not so sure about swiftwater yet. UPDATE! I wore them in swift water. We flipped on a shelf of boulders and rapids. The bottoms of the shoes do picked up Little pebbles. It saved me! I was able to stand up in knee deep swiftwater and use my paddle as a brace to make it to the side. Everyone else got swept off their feet. The rocks acted like cleats. They drained well and stayed in place even though they were slightly large! River was cold and feet stayed fine. Very happy!
