I’m so glad I went with these over the redwings. Not only did I save $100, I got a nice work boot made in USA instead of Vietnam (redwing Irish setters). They also fit better and feel more comfortable than the redwing counterpart imo. They fit maybe slightly large. I’m measured at size 12 but I like my shoes a little snug and usually wear an 11.5. I ordered these in 11.5 and they fit fine. Not snug but I’m not sliding around in them either. As long as the stitching holds up to normal wear and tear. They have a new lifelong customer.

These are some great boots out the box. Look good and feel pretty good as well. I’m not a wide shoe guy but the right foot was a little more snug than the left. After a few moments of walking around and wear either I got use to it or it settled somewhat because it doesn’t bother me. It may be due to the steel toe. Still the best boots I’ve had to date. I’m leaving behind my Wolverines and before that years of department store cheapies. The wolverines were good to me but I’m digging these Thorogood boots fresh out the box and can’t wait to use them at work.

I drive a delivery truck and unload cargo into stores with a dolly, so Im constantly climbing in and out of a box truck and walking in and out of places through rain, snow, etc., maneuvering, on my feet, pushing, pulling, lifting. Ive worn timberland pros for the past 13 years, religiously. I was finally sick and tired of having to buy a new pair of boots every 6-7 months, so I upped my game, spent a little more money and ordered myself a pair of these. For starters, they look awesome! Sick in fact. The leather is of very high quality, as is the stitching, which is double and throughout the entire boot. Super sturdy feel to them. They fit perfectly. I opted for the 8in with the wedge sole and I must say they feel like Im walking cushions or pillows. The eyelets are made of brass and even the laces are high quality. I love how they are easy to put on and super easy to un lace and take off too! BUY THESE BOOTS! They are well worth the money, you will not be disappointed! Amazon offers free returns too, so what do you have to lose?

Best pair of boots Ive owned. I previously wore the Timberland Pro wedge boots and a coworker told me to try these. It was a huge difference. The leather of these boots feels softer and fits my foot better. The sole is super comfortable and I have no problems working in them all day. The boots did require a week to break in but the fit is perfect. Ill definitely another pair when these wear out.

Most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I am not a steel worker. I purchased based on reviews and the fact that they are made in the USA The leather is like premium baseball glove leather. The boots required no break in. I have been wearing them with running socks and no abrasion on ankles. I will purchase again without hesitation. I mink oiled them and they lightened one shade lighter. Slightly darker then when I received them out of box. See pic Feels like a running shoe. Zero pain or discomfort in a 10 hour work day
