First Id like to point out that I have not written a negative review. I was really disappointed with this scarf. First, the length isnt very long so tying around your neck twice is out of the question. Secondly It stated that it is easy to wash. I had some makeup on my neck and the scarf absorbed the makeup and wont come out. I washed it by hand using Tide. When that didnt work I washed in the washing machine. None of the stains have come off. Unfortunately I had bought the all white scarf. Now I cant use it for anything but a rag. What a loss of money and time.

My wifes doctor and a number of YouTube videos suggested wearing an UV shield a over the wound of her thyroid operation would be helpful in healing to a barely noticeable scar. Its working so well that my wife wanted me to buy a 2nd scarf. Thank you very much.

This is perfect for when Im in a hurry and rushing to get out the door. I get as much sunscreen on my face and upper neck as I can and then throw this on to cover the rest of my neck and any of the exposed décolletage area. That way I can either leave the bandana on, or take it off when I have time to finish applying the rest of my sunscreen. Its also perfect if you are worried about getting sunscreen on the neckline of a delicate blouse, dress, or other easily stained fabric. Its also handy to keep something like this in your car for those times when youre driving directly into the sun or trapped in traffic and the rays are intensified on your face, ears, arms, etc.

It is a relief to have this on sunny days. I couldnt seem to keep my chest from burning even with SPF 70 sunscreen on. I hesitated at first because i thought it would be annoying and hot but its not that bad. I can wear it fairly comfortably even on 95 degree days and it works perfectly to keep the sun off my chest. Like other reviewers have mentioned the knot at the back is the main issue I have and the reason for the 4 rather than 5 stars. I wish they would use a series of snaps instead so you could adjust it to different lengths and not have to deal with a chunky knot at the back of your neck. A design flaw for sure. But still better than burning. Wish it came in more colors!

I received this bandanna today and just LOVE IT!!! It is perfect for protecting the décolletage and can be tied higher up on the neck to protect that area too. Perfect size (24”x24”), and even though it might seem big, it is not bulky at all. It is made of a soft, lightweight, stretchy and cool fabric - kind of a “dry-fit” material. It is 90% polyester and 10% spandex. It is supposed to block 98% of UVA/UVB rays, offering great sun protection for the chest and neck area. I have been wearing those classic cotton bandannas this summer and, oh my!, it is so hot here in California. I am glad I got this Coolibar one. I got the Grey and wish there were more neutral colors (like oatmeal, sand, etc.), I’d buy more! I didn’t like the white one, it looks like a napkin. Highly recommend!
