I am a size 16 and normally do not fit in size Large, so I was a bit skeptical of this dress sizing, but was SO pleased with the way it turned out that I ordered it again in blue. The pockets are fantastic and I did not feel like they made the dress stick out funny at the hips. I bought this to wear on a trip to California when I needed some dresses that could be casual around-the-house but also be dressed up to go out. This was so cozy, but cute! It wasnt especially see-through either (I hate when that happens). Because I am me, I wore a slip with it when I left the house. If you are looking for a good maxi-dress with pockets that you can wear a normal bra with, this dress is for you.

There are lots of problems with this dress. I returned mine, but somehow, I think Im still going to order another in the off chance I just got a really messed up one. First of all, its nothing like the dress pictures. I got the blue and its wayyyyy more blue than white, which luckily, I actually like better, but it should be known its not the pictured material at all. It also arrived with one pocket having a massive hole. Like, my entire hand goes through this hole. If it was just that, I wouldve kept it, bc 50% of your pockets functioning isnt terrible. But its just cut alllllll wrong. It is sewn in like a spiral around your body and hangs like it! The slit that is supposed to be on my right side is actually in front and the slit that should be on my left is more like on the back of my leg. And i dont just have a crooked body because when hung straight on a hanger, it looks like a front slit. And then there is the sizing, I ordered a small bc Im short and all the reviews say its huge. There is no tag telling you what size you even have and its about 4 inches too long. I think its a safe bet that theyre all one size no matter what you order. I actually like it enough that it would be worth the holey pocket and taking it to be hemmed IF it wasnt all twisty :/ Sigh. Shouldve known.

Okay Amazon shoppers, I ordered this dress 2X, once with the long sleeves with a more beige/brown tie dye coloring and in a small and then again in a short sleeve, gray/blue in extra small. I definitely like the extra small better than the small and the short sleeve more than the long sleeve but Im still not keeping this dress. And, Ill tell you why: First let me say what does not work for me with this dress: Cons: 1. The pockets are a deal breaker for me in this dress, while I usually love pockets, these are not strategically placed to be flattering, for anyone that is more of a pear shape? This dress may not be that flattering for you. My widest part of the body are my thighs (not my hips...note the difference...the thighs are lower and in a pear shape often wider than their hips). So? Even when I put a belt around this dress (to emphasize my smallest part of my body) it still doesnt look that flattering on me. 2. While this dress is of good quality and a nice material - the shape - design of the dress is not flattering - I really think they need to make this dress have some elastic around the waist or have a high or Roman Empire waist - this suits me because I am slim in my upper body and when a dress has an emphasis in this area, flatters me the most. Pros: Love the pattern or what I call Batik style - its termed Tie Dye here This is a flattering dress for women who are more APPLE (heavier on top, wider in the rib cage, bigger breasts, wider shoulders and slimmer hips/thighs) The quality of the dress is great, NOT see through and the feel of the dress is super soft and does not wrinkle easily Overall rating? 3 Stars because I think this dress needs more of a shape (again, even just a draw string around the middle that you can adjust to loosen or tighten). but thats MY opinion - obviously so many women love this dress! And I can see why. For me? I found it kind of shapeless.

This dress fits perfect. I am 5ft 6" and weigh 171 pounds, I got a small. Since I have more muscle than fat, I can get away with getting X smalls in some dresses. I wanted it to fit like the model so I sized up. I am a little jiggly in the lower stomach area but nothing a shaper wont fix. This dress hugs your curves in every way.

I love this dress! Thank goodness I read the reviews about sizing. I am 5 9.5" and wear a 16-18. I always buy tall XL and prefer XXL. I like my clothes loose. I am including a picture of me in a large wearing boots with 2" heels. I love the fit and flow of this dress. I carry my weight in my hips, so I think I willl probably stitch up the pockets and snip them off. The material is very stretchy, and light weight, but not see through. I love that this material doesnt wrinkle, perfect for packing!
