This is my 4th Travelon bag. I really like the canvas fabric - it has a more natural feel. The size is perfect, somewhere between a hobo and clutch. The anti-theft features provide peace of mind. European travel can be distracting, this gave us one less thing to worry about. I previously purchased the Hobo bag in this line, took it to Europe and ditched it in favor of the Travelon sling pack we got my husband. It was just too big. I have two complaints about this bag. The ugly logo sewn on the front, which I promptly removed. And this bag is too right handed. I wear it cross-body over my right shoulder, which puts the bulky buckle in the front. And the zippers run back to front instead of front to back. I am used to dealing with this kind of thing, but what I liked about the hobo bag is the strap was removable, so I could position the buckle out of my way. Overall this is a great product, easy to keep clean (I just popped it in the washer to clean) and I like the retro look of the fabric.

My boyfriend bought me this bag for my trip overseas with my students. I wish we would of seen the product reviews of the strap being broken! I was over in Paris when I found that the very thin thread that had been used to sew this bag together was unraveling and that my strap was coming out!!! Condition says new but this bag has been obviously used and is broken! There is no main zipper. The strap is almost broken off, the purse looks worn, and to top it off there was trash in the outside pocket! It boggles my mind how this item was sold to me as new, and appears on my doorstep in this condition. I was really looking forward to using this bag for my upcoming travel but the product was not up to par.

3 days into my trip, the strap broke. I decided to go against the reviews because surely with so many of the same complaints, Travelon would have fixed how they make the purse or Amazon would decide not to sell something that continuously breaks. But no, here I am in South America, surrounded by pickpocketers, about to go find myself another purse. It literally is holding on by a thread. I really loved this purse otherwise and was going to use it for my everyday purse. I just cant believe it only lasted 3 days; Im so disappointed and would NOT recommend.

The fact that I bought this handbag less than two months ago for my daughter to take to Europe and the strap is already falling apart. Barely holding on right now. Not happy at all. How can this be ANTI THEFT if the strap is so poorly put together? And now it says it is too late to return this handbag. NOT HAPPY!!!
