So Ive been wearing these over a month now. I think they are fantastic. I dont say that a lot about shoes, especially boots since Ive had surgery twice on my right ankle and I am obese. As a result my right ankle is larger than my left ankle. I have trouble finding shoes that accommodate that problem. The left fit perfectly on the first day and the right was slightly. After constantly wearing and putting a stretcher foot in the right boot they fit perfect within 3 days. They are the perfect height not going up my calves but about 3" above my ankle. They Nick easily but nothing a little polish doesnt fix.

I love Ariat Fat Boys, but my last two boot orders have been disappointing. The arches are so narrow/tight that I no longer can wear them all day for work or casual wear. I kept my order from 6 mos ago hoping they would stretch out, but they have not. This black pair came just as tight and I chose not to keep another pair that are less than comfortable. I will order a 1/2 size up and see if that helps. About the style - they are beautiful! The sole insert, however, was a little loose and seemed to be lifting on the sides. Hopefully Ill have better luck with the next pair. Shipping was on time and well packed.

I love these boots! They are black and the photos make them look gray, but I knew that ahead by reading product reviews and questions. I was worried about them fitting correctly because I have difficult feet to find shoes for. I usually wear a size 10w, but knew, after having visited a local store that had other boots this brand, that the 10 didnt fit right. I decided to try ordering these in an 11, thinking I would take advantage of Amazons free returns if they didnt fit, but they fit great! I absolutely love them, they are so comfy, there was no "breaking them in" they fit comfortably from the first time putting them on. My friends highly recommended Fatbaby boots to me and they were not wrong, will definitely purchase again.

My fiancé was the person who found these amazing boots and I instantly fell in love with the design of these boots! Theyre incredibly stylish AND comfortable. Most of the time, you have to compromise comfort or style when it comes to womens wear, especially with shoes but these break the mold. I have a really wide foot and its nearly impossible to find a shoe that doesnt squish my toes. These boots give my toes plenty of room without feeling oversized or cumbersome. These boots also give me an inch in height from the rubber soles, (which I love) and the padding is so comfortable! I walk everywhere in my small town and these boots have NEVER made my feet ache! It sounds too good to be true but its really that perfect. The style of these boots is not overly Western either. If you wear jeans other than skinny jeans, all youll see is the nice, rounded toe of the boot. Even the upper part of the boot is so cute and understated that I dont mind showing off the whole boot. The boots are rugged and built to last, no matter your terrain. Concrete and asphalt? No problem! Mud and brush? Thats covered too. Desert and sand? You got it! These boots offer so much quality for so little that Im tempted to buy several pairs so I never have to be without them again! I have nothing unpleasant or negative to say about these boots. They are perfect beyond comparison. When you purchase them, dont go a half size down if youre in between two sizes. Go up to the next full size for the best fit. Im between a 9 1/2 and a 10 (Ive got big feet) and I purchased the solid 10 and its a perfect fit. Snug but not too tight. Invest in the best boots money can buy. Youll be glad you did :)

Hard to review these boots as I love the soles and the footbed of these boots! That part of the boot are supportive, comfortable, and I can walk miles in them without pain. However....the shaft..... stiff, abrasive, and horribly uncomfortable. Even after wearing these for several weeks, the pulls on the sides still rub the insides of my calves raw (even with socks!). The stitching has eased a little on my ankles, but the stiff rims and the pulls still really bother me. I would say that I have small ankles and medium sized calves, so this isnt a size issue. I have been tucking my jeans into the inside of the boots to remedy the rubbing issue, but I would have hoped that after breaking these in it would no longer be an issue. I have Justins, Lucchese, Boggs...none of them have this problem. I would say these are my favorite boots if it werent for this problem. If you buy these boots, wear thick, tall socks and be prepared to really work out the stiff tops!
