Let me start by saying that when I bought my first pair of these over a year ago, they were my favorite pair of boots. And they still are a daily wear shoe for me through the fall and winter months. That said, they simply dont have the durability I would expect from a $100 pair of shoes. Within the first week I started seeing nicks in the leather on the toe box - if I accidentally kick something they dont just scuff, the leather actually slices and starts to peel apart! And after a few months of wear, the heels started to split and fray. Compared to other boots I own, they simply dont seem to last. My pictures show a new boot next one after a year of use, and some of the nicks and dings visible on the older boot. Ive recently purchased a pair of Kensie boots from Amazon, which are virtually identical but 1/3rd the pricetag. If they fall apart in a year I wont be so unhappy!

I would have given these no stars but I had to give something. You know how that works. They came on time as expected. They were a ted to tight and they bothered my toes, I kept them thinking they would stretch a bit after use. The problem came when I saw someone else with the same boot. They got theirs at a brick and mortar, I got mine from Amazon. They are not the same boot. Very similar imitation. Im not sure if lucky is making a cheaper model for Amazon or if Amazon is just selling a knock off. I thought it looked different but wasnt sure until I saw another pair next to them. I do have other lucky boots though and I always wear a size 7, I should have known when these ones were to tight and my other pairs fit perfectly.

I have been looking for a boot I could wear daily- with leggings, pencil skirts, jeans, or anything- to replace my suede furry winter boots- and these amazing boots have changed my life! As a teacher, I need to be able to make it through the day on my feet- so comfort is important! What I did not expect was that they would be almost as comfy as a pair of slippers, but with that modern appeal and fresh spring look I wanted. I loved them so much I immediately ordered them in black as well. I have bunions on both feet, which can be quite painful with the wrong fit- and the C/D width is just perfect for me. I usually have to size up to accommodate the bunions, which causes all kinds of odd fitting heel slip. etc. With these, I stayed with my real size and just hoped they would be wide enough- and YAY for me!!! I want to wear them everywhere I go.

Update: Ive been wearing these in rain (and some snow) for about two months now and thought Id share an updated photo. Love these boots. I ordered my usual size, and they fit just right. I live in the Pacific NW so I applied Sno-Seal to mine to prevent the type of water damage I saw in a photo posted by another reviewer. Sno-Seal always darkens the leather, but I actually prefer the slightly darker color. The boot on the left has been Sno-Sealed, the boot on the right has not.

I am so torn about these boots. The fit is awesome and they are super comfortable, so I naturally fell in love with them right away. But after one rain storm, they weathered terribly. The color disappeared at the point where my pants hit the boot and the heel covering is peeling off. Im so sad! I expected a much longer life out of these leather boots!
