This company stood for quality shoes in the past but no longer. Using cheap synthetic leather which has killed my feet for the past several weeks. Had to use leather softener so it would be bearable. I remember a time when these shoes were comfortable right out of the box. Quality has gone downhill. I miss my old Eccos.

The quality of these pair of shoes are much worse than what ECCO used to offer. I had bought my first pair in 2013 through another online seller. Bought a new pair in 2018 based on the excellent performance of the previous pair, but this time the feel and the quality is much worse. After just several weeks of use, which has been basically driving/walking to the university and back home on clean and dry surfaces in the city, the plastic cover on the outer rim started to detach, and the pair looked just terrible. After two or three months of use, I started feeling pain in my foot. It took me a while to figure out it was the shoes. Switched to another footwear and the foot pain went away gradually. Just in case, I am an active person so no foot pain ever before/after! I do not know how to return or claim refund on these pair of shoes after several months (please comment if you have any idea how I can open a case) so I thought informing everyone was the least I could do... Never expected such a bad experience from an original Amazon warehouse purchase. Well it seems there is always a high chance of surprise, even shopping a well-known brand from a mega-company! UPDATE on December 2018: I was able to return the product to ECCO and get a voucher toward a new pair of shoes. Hope this time they do not disappoint me :)

The shoe itself is very stylish and has a beautiful, rich color. The seams, quality and appearance are all great. However, this is my last shoe purchase from Amazon as the item came previously worn and in a almost completely damaged box, and this was also my last ECCO shoe purchase. The shoelaces hadnt even been put back to make it look like they were new. ECCO seems to have changed the last. I have one pair like this in the exact same size, and another pair in the same size but different style. Both fit great. The latter a bit smaller, but still perfectly fine for my feet. I ordered these Seattle Apron in 11-11.5D. The length is perfect, sufficient room in the toe box, sufficient wide there also. But the width overall is now much narrower making them unsuitable for me.

Feb 2017 purchase. I feel this is important, since I did thorough review before buying, and while I saw people say quality changed over the years, I believed it to be hiccups rather than production issues. Unfortunately, the high rating here is based a lot of old reviews. Unacceptable quality issues. Stay away. When I lined both shoes by heel, I can visually see the inside stitch lines on the leather not lining up between left and right show. At the ball of the feet, left and right stitches were off by 1-1.5 inches. My typical size is US 11.5, so I should have room to spare by ordering a US 12. However, the left shoe was so narrow at the ball, it was painful. Nothing special about my feet as I always order D (or regular) and it works with other brands/dress/athletic. My right shoe was better on width at the ball, but still narrow overall, I and could not wear for long periods. Returned immediately. Unhappy given the high hopes for this. Also, I purchase and returned a different ECCO Helsinki shoe. Again, it had quality issues and I was fool by the high historical reviews. That one the leather pieces were joined together with poor craftsmanship. I will stay away from ECCO for now. Opted for Bostonian.

Sent these back. Not the same as the ones I have, much cheaper construction. Clearly not the same as the ones on Eccos site either.
